If needle treatment is uncomfortable for you, good news!  Acupuncturists use a variety of other modalities that do not uinvolve the use of needles. How Does it Work?

Each acupuncture point has a variety of unique physical and electrical properties, and stimulation of these points produces definite physiological reaction, such as changes in heart rate and blood pressure. By stimulating appropriate acupuncture points along the body’s meridians, blocked energy is released allowing the body’s own natural healing energy to flow and restore balance and health.

Education and Licensing:

Acupuncturists practicing in California must be licensed by the state. Requirements for licensing include completing four years at an accredited acupuncture school, 500 hours of supervised clinical practice, and passing a comprehensive State Board Exam.  We are licensed in Hawaii, California and nationally.
